ECDL Entry 3 (BCS Award in Computer and Online Basics): This course is an accessible computer and internet qualification aimed at absolute beginners. It is designed for learners who have little or no experience using a computer and covers basic orientation and usage of the mouse, keyboard and knowledge of computer hardware and operating system features.
ECDL Essentials: ECDL Essentials introduces beginners to some common actions on a computer with a focus on gaining practical skills such as how to browse the internet and login to emails securely.
ECDL Extra: The ECDL Extra course builds on a learner’s initial basic knowledge by improving their understanding of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheets and presentation software. This course is ideal for learners wishing to strengthen their office skills.
ECDL Advanced: ECDL Advanced is the highest of the ECDL qualifications. Achieving this qualification demonstrates an individual’s proficiency using a variety of Microsoft Office software applications including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
