Course Essentials 
Professional Qualification: Level 3 Certificate in Cyber Security Practices
 
Prerequisites: Students must have a basic familiarity with networking concepts including routing, switching, and IP addressing. Students also should be familiar with basic security concepts. Experience with other security technologies (IPS, proxy, and content filtering) is a plus.
 
Duration: 12 weeks (1 class per week) 
 
Location: blended online learning and lab work where safe 
 
Assessment: there is one online exam which takes place at the end of the teaching
