Information Communications Technician

The Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship provides employed IT support beginners & Professionals with technical knowledge, practical skills and enhance their competency through a challenging, yet fulfilling work based learning process. This will prepare apprentices with the skills and knowledge required to become competent in their current / future roles.

Duration: 18-24 months 
Course Qualification: Level 3 Information Communications Technician

End point assessment
An EPA is to be completed in the last few months of the apprenticeship. 
• A portfolio - a showcase of your best work and achievements at work
• A project - the opportunity to undertake a businessrelated project at work
• An employer reference by the employer 
• A structured interview with an external assessor (& other processes)

This is always worth doing as we are always on the look out for talented people and, while we do receive significant interest in our apprenticeship programmes, we can create apprenticeship opportunities should be ideal candidate become available. In addition, we do have connections across North London and may be able to form partnerships with other companies who are looking for apprentices.

Eligibility
  • Meet residency criteria check including 3 years UK/EU resident with right to remain
  • Employed with a contact of employment on the start date of apprenticeship for a minimum of 30 hours per week 
  • Have employer consent for pursuing an Apprenticeship at the appropriate level in the relevant sector
  • Have not obtained a recognised full Level 4 or higher qualification
  • Not be studying towards a degree qualification, or hold a degree qualification
  • Maths and English GCSE Or Functional Skills Level 2

  • Network engineers
  • Systems support desk
  • Telecommunications technician
