Customised Job Search assistance and training before and during work for indivdiuals to help them into sustainable employment
What’s the aim of the project?
The Skills for Jobs provision provides an integrated employment and skills provision to job-ready job seekers supporting them into long-term employment opportunities available through Local Employer Partnerships (LEP) across North & North East London. We offer customized job search, interview and CV writing and other employability skills that are specific to actual job vacancies, in order to give you the best chance to get, and keep a job. This is supported through progression pathways into further training options
What will I gain?
During the project you will be offered:
- An initial interview in which we assess your skills and needs
- Information and Guidance about applying for work according to your individual needs, career aspirations and existing labour market opportunities
- Vocational training (training that is relevant to your preferred area of work) relevant to available vacancies
- Progress tracking and in work support for a further 6 weeks whilst you are working to provide support and guidance in your new job, identifying any barriers in your new job that might need removing
Course Duration
The provision is offered for a maximum of 12 weeks according to individual client needs and eligibility.
Am I Eligible?
If you are a resident of Enfield, Barnet, Haringey, Waltham Forest, Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, or Havering and are unemployed, then you are eligible for this project.
