Personalised help to move into employment for Enfield and Haringey residents led by Enfield Council
What’s the aim of the project? What will I gain? Our advisors will support you with intensive Job Search and Job Brokerage in order to match your skills, knowledge and career aspirations to current job vacancies. We will provide customized skills and personal development training including employability skills, communication skills, personal and family finances, use of internet and email, healthy living and Confidence building workshops. Upon completion of the project, you will be entitled to telephone and email support and a follow-up meeting with your personal advisor to ensure you are being supported within the workplace and being made aware of potential further development opportunities.
The Marching On project tackles barriers in preparing you to go back to work after long-term unemployment periods. The support provided will be flexible and tailored to your individual needs.
You will get a personal advisor to discuss your individual needs and decide on an agreed ‘Personalised Action Plan’ with yourself. You will be given information, advice and guidance (IAG) including referral to relevant agencies for additional specialist support, further education or training, referrals for work placements or voluntary roles for gaining work experience.
