“Training and job search skills for 18 to 24 year olds in Haringey and Enfield”
With an emphasis on literacy, numeracy and training in English language, and a work placement, this project aims to help young people who have been claiming Job Seekers Allowance to move into permanent jobs and to increase their long-term employability.
Under this project, you could work towards the following courses:
26 weeks, 30 hours per week
To get onto this project you should be between the ages of 18 and 24, long-term unemployed, and live in Haringey or Enfield Boroughs.

On this project you will have access to high quality education to improve literacy, numeracy, ESOL skills and work experience placements that can help you gain the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the labour market.
Under this project, you could work towards the following courses:
26 weeks, 30 hours per week
If you are 25 or over and living in Enfield or Haringey, you can do this project.

“Employability and skills for over-25s in Haringey and Enfield through work experience”
We will offer you help and opportunities with the aim of getting you back into sustainable work. We will build on other help you already receive and give you an individually tailored package of support including work experience placements, soft skills sessions and help with Job Search.

13 weeks, 30 hours per week
If you have been referred by Job Centre Plus, are 25 or above, and live in Enfield or Haringey borough, then you are eligible for this project.

“Support, training and work placement opportunities to help single parents into sustainable work”
New Deal for Lone Parents is a voluntary programme designed to help lone parents into work. It offers a package of support to help you move towards a more secure future for you and your children.
To help you into work, we will provide:
- Information, advice and guidance
- Soft skills training
- Personal development and confidence building
- Assistance with Job Search, and matching your skills to job vacancies
- Work placement opportunities
- Advice on further education and training
- Practical advice and help about finding childcare
- Advice on how benefits will be affected when you start work
- Help applying for any work benefits or tax credits
Two-year programme – about 26 weeks (can be extended at the discretion of the advisor)
If you are an unemployed single parent (male or female) from Haringey, Enfield, Barnet, Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Barking or Dagenham, then you are eligible for this project.
