The overall effectiveness of the provision is good. Achievement and standards are satisfactory. The quality of provision is good. Leadership and management, and equality of opportunity are outstanding. Overall provision in preparation for life and work is good. Teaching and learning are also good, as is the extent to which the programme meets participants’ needs. Guidance and support for participants is outstanding.

  • Assessment is satisfactory. Fortnightly progress reviews are thorough and provide an effective opportunity to review participants’ progress and to identify further developments and support needs. However, the scoring system used to record this information is not sufficiently detailed to plan and measure progress
Leadership and Management

  • Operational and strategic management of the programme is very good
  • Communications throughout 5E are highly effective
  • Management information is particularly good and used very effectively to identify trends and promote improvements

  • Resources are managed very effectively and their use demonstrates value for money
  • Policies are updated annually and effectively define the organisation’s response to legislation and employment rights
