Employability Skills Entry 2, Entry 3 and Level 1

These qualifications are intended for young people and adults who are not yet ready for employment but for whom a job is a realistic aim within a reasonable timescale. These are ASDAN Employability Qualifications.

Qualification Aims
  • Develop learners’ confidence and motivation
  • Develop communication skills and job search techniques
  • Assist learners in their awareness of opportunities available in employment training or education
  • Develop and improve presentation skills
  • Develop an understanding of spiritual, moral, ethical, social and cultural issues, environmental issues, health and safety considerations and European developments
  • Raise awareness of progression opportunities
  • Provide opportunities for candidates to achieve key skills
