Work Skills

Under the Work Skills programme students will gain employment support facilities and basic skills training towards future job prospects. There will be a guaranteed work interview within 4 weeks of starting the programme and an IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) session determining realistic job goals. Up to date references, employability skills, interview techniques and CV building support are also provided. There is also access to First Aid, Food and Hygiene and Manual Handling training courses.

Duration
15 weeks (6-15 hours per week)

Target Customers
Unemployed, Lone Parent or a Refugee living in Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Barking, Haringey and Dagenham. This group should NOT include those with substantial needs (basic skills or ESOL needs, drug or alcohol related needs or customers with a passive lifestyle).

Continued Support
5E will provide continued access to facilities during 13 week tracking period after completion of the programme for continued job search support and guidance.
