Personal Best

The stepping stone into work through a training programme that prepares you to volunteer for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games

The Personal Best project aims to build upon the volunteering prospects in the London 2012 Olympic Games by encouraging workless and socially excluded individuals to gain new skills, engage in their communities, raise their aspirations and self-confidence, and move nearer to the job market. The Personal Best Programme consists of the Level 1 accredited training course ‘Preparation for Event Volunteering’ (Pre-Volunteer Programme for the Olympic and Paralympic Games) (at Level 1) backed by extensive support that leads to referrals for further training, volunteering opportunities or a job.

Who can join the programme?
