A flexible project to help residents of Barnet and Haringey prepare for and sustain work

What’s the aim of the project?
This project aims to help individuals to overcome barriers to finding work, and to help prepare for employment. It is a flexible programme that will allow us to cater to individual needs.

What will I gain?
If enrolled on this project, you can expect:

  • Individual action plans and personalised support
  • Mentoring and advocacy support
  • Soft skills training
  • Help with writing your CV or filling out application forms
  • Job-related customised training including qualifications for employability
  • Labour market orientation and work experience
  • Work trials and post employment support
  • Support with job search

Course Duration
Maximum 52 weeks, flexible 16 hours per week

Am I Eligible?
If you are over sixteen, unemployed and based in Barnet or Haringey then you are eligible for this project. We welcome those with disabilities and mental health difficulties, lone parents, carers and BME community members.
