Who are we?
5 E Ltd is a leading third sector training and employability provider within London. Operating from 6 fully resourced delivery centres across North and North East London with an expanding team of over 200 dedicated staff members, 5 E Ltd provides a holistic support package of basic, key and vocational skills, employability training and job brokerage, Matrix accredited Information, Advice and Careers Guidance (IAG), workforce development, Advanced ICT and Engineering, small business development and other specialist support.
How are we funded?
We currently deliver over 20 publically funded programmes supporting individuals and businesses with skills, employability and other specialist provisions. Approximately 99% of 5 E Ltd’s overall provision is government-funded training, employability and welfare to work provision. Our funders include:

- European Regeneration Development Fund (ERDF)
- Learning Skills Council (LSC)
- London Development Agency (LDA)
- London Councils
- Border & immigration Agency

How have we grown?
5E Ltd was established in 1998 to provide New Deal and work-based learning and welfare to work programmes for adults initially in North London. The organisation was successful in obtaining funding from a range of funders including the European Social Fund (ESF), European Regeneration Development Fund (ERDF), Single Regeneration Budget and other programmes.
In August 2006, the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) awarded 5 E Ltd a contract to provide Train to Gain programmes. In August 2007, North London LSC awarded 5E a contract to provide the new Employability Skills Programme (ESP) followed by the Skills for Jobs – Local Employer Partnerships (LEP) provision in 2008. We currently deliver over twenty projects from 7 Centres around North and North East London.

On 6th July 2009, 5 E Ltd achieved the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) Beacon Status Award which provides public recognition of excellence and innovation of our work within the further education system - Outstanding Ofsted Provider status
