OCR NVQ in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools - Level 2

The aim of this qualification is to recognise the skills and competences of candidates in the workplace. The qualification applies to anyone who provides direct support for teaching and learning in any type of school – primary, secondary, special or pupil-referral units.
The qualification covers the key activities carried out by staff supporting teaching and learning in schools under most of the circumstances they are likely to encounter, as well as the traditional teaching assistant role. There are units that are suitable for cover supervision and pastoral support, as well as more provision for staff supporting inclusion.
