5E College of London encourages a holistic approach to study. We want you to make the best of what one of the world’s most exciting capital cities has to offer!
Hot-spots
London has a reputation for being an expensive city to live in – but the best things to do are free!
Here are some of our favourites:
- Study for a day among the hallowed collections of the British Library
- Forget the hustle and bustle of the city and wander through one of London’s 200+ beautiful parks (Hampstead Heath is nearby)
- Take an off-peak all day travel card, grab the front seat on the top deck of a red double-decker bus and take in the best views of the famous Central London streets
- Visit the world renowned British Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, the V&A Museum and the Museum of London – for free!
Leisure
London is also known for some of the best restaurants and hangouts. There are plenty of clubs and pubs to choose from and if you are religiously inclined you can seek solace in a number of prominent temples and mosques that dot London.
Studying and living in London might seem daunting, particularly if this is your first time in the UK. To make the process easier and more enjoyable, you will receive an induction from your student welfare officer, who will help initiate you to life in London.
Our advice and guidance team will be happy to advise you on finance, accommodation, medical circumstances, transportation, opening a bank account, council tax benefits, or any other personal matters.
