ACCA is a membership in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK ; a professional qualification in the field of Accountancy, Auditing and Taxation. It is popularly known as the International CA. This course is equivalent to CA in India and CPA in the USA . This course enables you to become a member of the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom which is more than 100 years old and one of the fastest growing accountancy institutes in the world.
ACCA is a 2-3 year full-time course. Examinations are conducted directly by the Institute from UK through the British Council / National examination Councils. Exams are held in June and December every year. ACCA members are in high demand globally. As a professional you will be expected to ensure your knowledge and skills are relevant to the constantly changing needs of the market. Course Content
To become a member, one has to pass 14 papers. However nine of them are eligible for exemption based on the qualification of the candidate.
From fundamentals, candidate will need to complete 3 papers from knowldge module and 6 papers from the skill module.
From Professional, candidate will need to complete 3 essential module papers and 2 optional module papers.

Eligibility Criteria
For entry to ACCA’s professional qualification you must be at least 18 years of age and meet at least one of the criteria given below:
- Senior Schools Certificate 10 + 2 (pass in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics / Accounts, mark of 65% in at least 2 subjects and over 50% in the others).
- B.Com Graduates from recognized university (No marks restrictions)
- Any degree (B.A/B.Sc.) from a recognized university (No marks restrictions).
Course Fees/Duration
The Fundamental Knowledge Module is 6 months in duration, covering 480 hours of learning at a cost of Rs. 30,000.
The Fundamental Skills Module is 12 months in duration, covering 1040 hours of learning at a cost of Rs. 65,000.
The Professional Essential Module is 6 months in duration, covering 480 hours of learning at a cost of Rs. 36,000.
The Professional Optional Module is 6 months in duration, covering 480 hours of learning at a cost of Rs. 36,000.
